Problem:

One of the major network infrastructure operators with points of presence across Europe and Asia required market research to shape their strategy in response to shifting market demands—driven by the rapid expansion of IaaS and PaaS operators (both potential and existing clients) and the surge in cybersecurity threats, which also presented new business opportunities.

Action:

We conducted in-depth market research focusing on European backbone and second-tier networks, IXPs, IP transit providers, IaaS and PaaS data centers, and cybersecurity solution vendors (both white-label and branded). The research included customer segmentation, market evaluation, PESTEL and trend analysis, SWOT analysis, and strategic proposals structured using the 5P framework.

Result:

Following the presentation of our findings and recommendations,  we facilitated a strategic session with the company’s top management, which led to a clear expansion strategy and a set of high-level, actionable directives. These were subsequently implemented to support the company’s continued market share growth.
