Problem:

The client was uncertain about the type of investment to pursue and the timing of the capital-raising activities. They had commissioned financial models for this project twice before, but both times received suboptimal results—overly complex and filled with unnecessary details, yet lacking flexibility and usability for effective planning.

Action:

We built a custom financial model with several unique features, including a language switch (the model was bilingual) and the ability to vary investment types, conditions, and their proportions. It included a custom dashboard, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and return-on-capital visualizations for multiple investor types.

Result:

Our customer received the model just in time to secure the necessary investment and reserve the last available lagoon for this type of resort in the entire country. We also helped them minimize the required capital—they initially believed they would need twice as much.
