Confectionery market research & product-driven strategy

Problem:

The company had a strong track record of catering to top-tier restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and was considering expanding its operations by opening its own restaurants across the country. The main challenge they faced was how to stand out in the market—both in terms of the gastronomic experience and the quality of service and ambiance.


Action:

We conducted an in-depth market analysis, including market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM), customer segmentation with direct speech analysis, competitive benchmarking, and technological research. We also explored trends in the confectionery industry to generate a solid set of ideas and strategic proposals. The outcome was a set of three comprehensive strategic concepts covering gastronomic and decor themes, service standards, restaurant locations, and target consumer segments. The client selected one.


Result:

The selected concept combined innovative culinary solutions with an appealing ethno-cultural theme that attracted a broad tourist audience and marked a new stage in the client’s business growth.
